Top of Park City

Today, Andy and I took the lift to the top of Park City at 10,000 feet.  This is the view toward Deer Valley.
It was a beautiful hike down one of the trails to another lift that took us to the town lift.  Then we walked back to our car at the ski lifts.
There are still remains of the mining facility on the slopes.  There are still the mining ore car supports in place from these days.

Cuberant Lake Hike

This was a 7 mile hike with a 1000 foot elevation gain to a beautiful lake.
 The meadows were fantastic.
There was an unbelievable climb up and down to and from the lake.  I felt that I was on the Alaska gold field hike.
 This is Andy going down.
Cuberant Lake..our reward for the hike.

Kayaking the Jordanelle

Another great day for a kayak trip.
Lots of birds at the mouth of the lake,  Here are a pair of white Pelicans.

Kayaking and hiking

Wednesday morning we kayaked Mirror Lake.  It was cold and windy but a fun trip.  Lots of fish were being caught by the fisherman.
This is the most clothing I have worn kayaking.
In the afternoon we hiked to Ruth Lake.

Hike to Fehr Lake and Shepard and Hoover Lakes

Tuesday, we took a fun hike to Fehr Lake.

 The wildflowers were beautiful.
We continued on to Shepard and Hoover Lakes, even thought the trail was very faint.
