Haviland Lake area

 We started out to hike to the little Crater Lake from Andrew Lake but got stopped by the snow.

 We moved on to the south facing areas and hike the Colorado Trail out of Little Molas Lake.

Camping Greer

 We are on our way to Colorado and spent the first two nights in Greer.  Stopped in Pine Top to see the Gillmans for a couple of hours.

 On our hike on Saturday, we saw this Blue Heron at the top of a tree.

Last day in Hawaii

Today is our last day here in Hawaii.  It has been a wonderful break for us.  We sure miss talking to Mom each day about our adventures, but I she is watching over us for sure.

 The snorkeling at the Mauna Kea is wonderful and the grounds are beautiful.

40th Anniversary Celebration

Andy and I had a delayed celebration of our 40th Anniversary at Roy's tonight.  Where did the time go?

Cave adventure

 Andy, Dale and I explored a large lava tube near Hilo today.  The Haumana Cave

 It is even a very wet cave with roots hanging down from the ceiling.

Waipio Valley

 Our neighbors at the condo.

 Today we hiked down to the Waipio Valley.  It is a 900 foot drop in one mile (a very steep road).  The really bad part is the walk up.

 It is a beautiful black sand beach.

 There was a herd of wild horses down in this beautiful valley.
