Tubac with friends

Sue and Tom Barker and Wendy and Joe D'Virgilio have come over from California for a visit and a trip to the gem show. Friday we went down to Tubac for the art festival there.

Tucson Gem Show

The Tucson Gem Show started this week and Andy has sold our largest Amythest Geode to a vendor there.

Sedona in the rain

We are having a great time in Sedona for a long weekend. Friday was overcast but great hiking weather.

Saturday, it is raining. This is a spot in Oak Creek Canyon that you never see a waterfall. It was quite impressive.

Vistoso Bike Challenge

Saturday we rode our bikes in the Vistoso Bike Challenge. It is a fund-raiser for ICS (Interfaith Community Services) sponsored by St. Andrews Presbyterian and the Internation Christian Bike Association. It was lots of fun. The photo was taken by our friend Linda DeBoer.

These were the metals that we receive just for finishing the race. Quite impressive for an 8.6 mile ride.

We have had three days of wonderful skiing so far.  It is suppose to snow tonight and be 17 degrees for a high tomorrow.  Hopefully the roads will clear by Saturday when we leave.  As you can see by the lower photo we almost have the place to ourselves.  This is a great week to ski.

2013 visitors

 Reilly announced our early morning visitors.  They were there to get the damaged oranges off the tree.
