Easter with the family

Mackenzie and Audrey check out the eggs after their egg hunt.
Here is Greatgrandma Dorothy with her 8th greatgrandchild Sophie and family.

Scott, Karin, Audrey & Sophie on her first Easter.

Karin's Dad, Steve, with David & Joanna's baby Marin.
All together we had 11 adults and 5 kids 4 and under....lots of fun. Roger, Carolyn and two of his granddaughters came by later for desert. They are on a road trip with the girls.

Zoo with the grandkids

Jim, Heather, Cole and Mackenzie came over for the Easter Holiday and Saturday we picked up Audrey and all went to the Zoo. We got there in time to feed the Giraffe's. The kids had a great time.

Baby Sophie has arrived

Beautiful baby Sophie has arrived.
Big Sister and Daddy enjoy the new baby who would rather sleep.

Wildflowers

We met Scott & Karin at the hospital this morning and took Audrey with us while they waited for Baby Sophie to arrive. The wildflowers this year are just wonderful. We went up to Catalina State Park and Granddaddy taught Audrey to throw rocks in the river (he is use to boys).

The hills are just ablaze with color.

Spring in Tucson

It is still early for spring but Friday was a beautiful day and the wildflowers are coming out. Andy and I took a day off and went for a hike in Catalina State Park up the Sutherland trail.
The streams are really rushing and we had to ford them 4 times on the way up.

Wilma the Wildcat & Audrey

Thursday night we took Scott, Karin & Audrey to the U of A women's basketball game. As you can see Audrey had a great time and enjoyed getting to know Wilma. Unfortunately the Cats lost.

Back at Lake Tahoe

We are back for another week of skiing at Northstar. It was a perfect day today but as you can see by the clouds coming in we are expecting snow tonight and tomorrow morning. This is the view from the top of the mountain looking west toward the lake.
The trees at the top of the mountain are still loaded with snow from the last storm and are beautiful.
