Volunteers of the year

Andy, Tim & Brian received the volunteers of the year award from ICS (Interfaith Community Services) for their handy helper work with the clients and the work they do at the office. Congratulation to the "Three Musketeers".

Wildflower Hike

We finally had a day that both of us were free so we took a wildflower hike in Catalina State Park.

This is really a great year for wildflowers due to the early rains that we had last fall.

More Snow Time

Wednesday, Audrey took a day off from ski school and Scott took her to the new Zephyr lodge at the top of the mountain, where we traded off watching her and skiing.

When we are not skiing, there is time to make snow angels.

When we go down to the village at the end of the day to pick up Audrey, the resort people are waiting with smore's for us. Here is Audrey eating her's while we take the gondola up to ski back to our condo.

Northstar at Tahoe

What a different a month and a year make. A year ago we were here and had 10 feet of snow in one week. A month ago Andy and I were here and there was no snow in front of the condo. Scott and Audrey are getting ready to go down to the village for ski school for Audrey.

Time with friends

We have been a long time with a new blog. Mom had a TIA when we were in Tahoe and we had to fly home early. It has taken a while but she is doing fine and getting better every day. Thursday our friends the Barkers and the D'Virgilios arrived to do the gem show. Today we also went to the the Miniature Museum. It was great, beautiful arrangements.
