Service project
This is pretty much what the kitchen looked like at the First Church of God. We partner with this midtown church and serve the homeless there every Thursday. Andy, Jasper, Steve and Doug have spend countless hours down the first phase of the remodel.
It is coming along and looking good.

Building a house in Rocky Point with 1 Mission
Day one on the project....we must finish the slab. All done by hand in wheelbarrows
Day 2...the slab is dry and the work begins on raising the walls. The girls did a really good job.
Their favorite jobs were hammering in the nails and helping with the stucco. "Who needs a hawk" was their favorite cry as they delivered stucco to the stuccoers.
The Thompson, Fiore family at the end of the project. Tired but happy to have served God and this family. We had the oldest and youngest members of the group.

We have had a hike to Rockbound Lake on our bucket list for a few years since it was recommended by hikers at back country lodges. This is looking down on Tower Lake making the last push to Rockbound Lake.
Rockbound Lake at last. 10.5 miles RT and 2500 feet in elevation gain. It was so worth it.
The next day we hiked to Taylor Lake. This was a "short" 8 miles and only 2000 feet in elevation gain.
Lunch at Taylor Lake.

Marjorie Lake Hike
Even though it is a holiday weekend here in Utah we left very early to go up to the Mirror Lake Hwy to take a hike.
We have not been to Marjorie Lake before even though we have hike in the area.
It was a great destination even though it is at 10,000 feet.
This was the sky on the way back but we never got any rain.
